Editor's Room Pick:

Although all the rooms are breathtaking, the newer beach bungalows are my favorites. I love laying in the plush bed with french doors views of the beach plus the outdoor shower.

What to Know:

There are no WiFi connection or televisions in the room. This experience is a true escape from the real world.

Activities:

There is a tranquil overwater spa to ease the stress from the flight. For those who want more than beaching, dive trips to the barrier reef, bone fishing excursions, snorkelling expeditions can be arranged with the front desk of the hotel. Tennis court with a ball machine is also available. If the golf cart gets tiring, you can take a bicycle ride around the cay. Once a month Kamalame Cay hosts one of their legendary Beach Brunches.

Kamalame Cay is a third generation owned business and still going strong.

So much, but a must is the Palm Hallway. Yes, the aisle is set with hundreds of coconut palm trees just for you.

Our Favourite Thing:

We love exploring the narrow cay with our personal golf cart from end to end. Kayaking through the nearby serene mangroves at high tide was another adored activity of ours.

Location:

Less than a mile away from Staniard Creek. You can arrive at Kamalame Cay by ferry, seaplane or helicopter. A helicopter is recommended.

Great House dinning room inclusive of outdoor seating that provides gourmet flare on Bahamian dishes. Next to the pool is the Tiki Bar for lunch bites.
